Mapping of PACS Working Item Based on User’s Group for Intensification of PACS Security

Abstract

|
|
Purpose: To classify working item of PACS based on user’s group in full PACS hospital for PACS security by restricting working item according to PACS user’s status.
Materials and Methods: 700 bed size full PACS hospital was evaluated. We surveyed working items in PACS and PACS user’s group and classified the items according to each PACS user type.
Results: There are 22 different user in 10 user’s groups and 54 items in 7 division of PACS working. We classify the items according to user’s group for minimizing of exposure of patient’s medical information.
Conclusion: The security of patient’s information in PACS will be preserved well, when adequate limitation of detailed work items according to PACS user.
